Participants will learn to spot hidden assumptions and signals, adjust their communication to build authentic connections, and align intentions to foster clarity, trust, and progress across various professional and personal interactions. Core concepts we will explore: - Definition: know your listener; who are you talking to?
- Assumptions: hierarchy and stereotypes
- Subtext: understanding wants, fears, and unmet needs
- Adaptation: adjust your approach to the audience
- Influence: connection and direction (push/pull)
Katherine McDowell 
Theater-trained coach and facilitator, Katherine helps professionals connect more authentically, with others and with themselves. She brings a wealth of experience across a variety of business sectors and levels of corporate structure, including L’Oreal, Unilever, PepsiCo, Morgan Stanley, and American Express. She holds a BFA from NYU’s Tsch School of the Arts and an MA from Kings College London in conjunction with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.
