About the Speaker Patrick T. Harker is a distinguished scholar, academic leader, and public policy expert with a career spanning the highest levels of academia, government, and finance. He currently serves as the Rowan Distinguished Professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and as Director of Academic Engagement for Penn Washington, where he helps connect the University’s thought leadership with national policy discussions in the nation's capital. From 2015 to 2025, Dr. Harker was the 11th President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, where he played a pivotal role in shaping U.S. monetary policy as a member of the Federal Open Market Committee. ARRIVAL & ENTRY - The Innovation Nest is inside the Kornberg School of Dentistry at 3223 N. Broad Street.
- Enter the building off Broad Street, using the doors across from PNC Bank (look for the red iNest flag).
- Check in with the security desk, take the elevator to the fourth floor, and turn left out of the elevator. Innovation Nest, suite 490, will be immediately on your right side.
PARKING INFORMATION - 2-hour street parking is available around the building using ParkMobile (with ability to extend time up to 6 hours).
- $22 garage parking is available at Battersby Lot on the corner of Broad and Westmoreland (1411 Westmoreland Street) with a 3-minute walk. Carlisle West Garage (3423 N. 15th St) is also available with a 7-minute walk.
- For those driving and hoping to avoid Broad St traffic, you are welcome to work remotely from the iNest coworking space during the day on 10/27.
