On July 22, along with NAWBO SJ, we will be hosting a Women's Empowerment and Safety Workshop led by former MMA fighter Jamie Miller. This interactive program is designed to help women feel more confident and aware in a safe and supportive environment. We created this program so every woman who attends will takeaway immediate tips to get “street smart” and walk a bit taller.

We have witnessed that when women feel stronger on the outside, they become stronger on the inside. Confidence, awareness, and preparation can have a powerful impact not only on personal safety, but on how women navigate their careers, communities, and daily lives.

Participants will learn:

·       Situational awareness - practical tips for avoiding potentially unsafe situations.

·       Personal safety strategies and techniques.

·       Using your voice as well as your body for power.
