How AWS Drives Healthcare Innovation

Use of the cloud by healthcare organizations continues to grow at a rapid pace.  Brian will discuss the benefits to healthcare organizations of moving workloads to AWS, and many of the innovative use cases we are seeing across the industry.

Brian leads Healthcare Partnerships in North America for Amazon Web Services.  His role is to grow and nurture the community of partners that enable healthcare organizations to benefit from the full breadth of services that AWS has to offer.  This includes software vendors that enable their solutions to run on AWS as well as consulting organizations like Slalom that help their clients optimize their use of AWS services.

Before AWS, Brian worked for 20 years at McKinsey & Company where he was a member of the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and healthcare IT practices.  He served as a consultant to organizations across the healthcare/pharmaceutical ecosystem, a subject matter expert in healthcare IT, and an administrator of the healthcare IT practice.

Brian holds an MBA from Columbia University, and a MS/BS in Materials Science and Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.  He lives with his wife and 2 children in Philadelphia PA.
